Matt has over a decade of experience in income tax consulting, planning, and compliance. He has served a wide variety of clients in many industries including oil & gas, real estate, healthcare, information technology, and not-for-profit. He has significant expertise and experience with multi-state partnership taxation especially relating to the oil & gassector. Since 2015, he has also specialized in business valuation services, in both a tax planning and litigation setting.

Matt joined the firm in 2010 after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting that same year and became a shareholder in 2021. He has been a licensed CPA in Oklahoma since 2011, and Texas since 2014. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA), Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). He is also a past-president of the South Central Chapter of the OSCPA.

Matt and his wife, Abi, have three girls. In his free time he enjoys golf, reading, and puzzles of any kind.
